Count days are used nationwide to tally students attending public schools. It is critical to have students attend school on this day as the tally directly affects the amount of state funding each district/school receives.
To encourage student attendance, LTA will be allowing students to wear a team jersey or team jersey t-shirt.
To make this successful and reflect our school’s mission and vision please follow these guidelines:
- The shirt MUST have a number on it.
- If the material is see-through, a white undershirt must be worn underneath.
- No hoodies, sweatshirts, or coats.
- Since count day falls on a Friday, students may wear LTA spirit wear, including LTA team shirts, if they have no negative marks in their planners.
Parents and students, by cooperating and displaying one of our virtues prudence (the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason), we look forward to providing more fun days out of uniform.
