Welcome from Mr. Wright

Liberty Tree Academy Students, Families, and Staff,

Welcome to LTA’s second year. I am excited to greet each of you. It is an honor to be the new principal for Liberty Tree Academy. I have already met so many kind and polite students, gracious and welcoming families, and focused and passionate staff, who each support and strengthen LTA in many ways. I am humbled to work with each of you and I look forward to serving all those in our LTA family with an authentic, traditional American education.

Of course, last year was LTA’s first year. Our school started in a temporary location while construction on our new permanent building was completed. Last year had its challenges, but more powerfully, last year offered our young school many fruitful opportunities for growth. Our school community stands strong after our first year. LTA has clearly been founded and strengthened by the meaningful curriculum and our powerful LTA mission and vision:

Liberty Tree Academy trains the minds and improves the hearts of young people through a classical, content-rich education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue in an orderly and disciplined environment.

Soon LTA will move into our newly constructed school building for our September 3 start of school. Our new building is beautiful, elegant and spacious. The new building is capable of supporting our school’s growth and mission for many years to come.

For all of us in the LTA family, I am excited to work together for a year of progress with those worthy challenges designed to support and strengthen us all. I feel truly blessed to work together on behalf of our young men and women who are growing daily in wisdom, purpose and courage.

I wish you all the very best year!

Stephen Wright

Principal, Liberty Tree Academy
