Enrollment Information

LTA Enrollment Overview

Liberty Traditional Academy (LTA) will enroll approximately 58 students per grade in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Eligibility and Non-Discrimination Policy

In line with C.R.S. 22-30.5-104(3), any student is eligible to attend LTA, space permitting. LTA adheres to a strict non-discrimination policy and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic background, national origin, gender, disability, or age. Enrollment is open to all students, including those with disabilities, and information regarding disabilities will only be requested after a student has been admitted and enrolled. For inquiries about the admission and enrollment of students with disabilities, please contact the D49 office or the LTA Registrar.

Class Size and Enrollment

Class sizes at LTA may range from approximately 25 to 29 students, with two classes per grade level, totaling 50 to 58 students per grade. Classes may be over-enrolled by up to two students per class to account for natural attrition.

Age Requirement

Students must be 5 years of age by October 1 to begin the current school year.

Application and Enrollment Process

Interested families are required to complete an online application for students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade. The enrollment process includes:

  1. Filling a new grade of Kindergarten students.
  2. Filling seats that may become available in 1st grade and above.

If the number of applicants exceeds the available seats for any given grade, the Administration will conduct a public, system-generated, grade-level lottery. The results of the lottery will create a numerical waitlist for first-grade students and above. The school will use the waitlist to offer available seats to students on a grade-by-grade basis as they become available.

Waitlist Policy

The waitlist is not carried over to subsequent years. No vacant seats will be filled after October Count Day.
